From July 15 to 19, the Vie Val d’Is association, the commune and Val d’Isère Tourisme are offering a week of action, exploration, education, and wonder. For the past 17 years the association has organised an environment day, when 160 volunteers collect litter from the ski area and take time to raise awareness of waste issues. Perhaps you’ve already taken part?
This year, Vie Val d’Is has turned the day into a week dedicated to our local environment. This first edition of Naturons’Nous! is about exploring, acting, participating, and marvelling at nature. Tour the forests and alpine meadows, examine the botany and the vegetable gardens, and explore the Col de l’Iseran.
The village bus station has just been moved from the village centre to La Daille. Buses from other towns and villages will now stop and depart at this location. To reach the centre of the village of Val d’Isère, simply take the “red train” bus towards Le Fornet.
