For adventurous athletes and those who enjoy pushing their boundaries, the 72-km High Trail Vanoise race should appeal with its elevation gain of 4,820 metres! The programme offers an opportunity to visit the region on various walks, take action by helping to clean the ski area and the Isère riverbanks, join activity workshops and share pleasant experiences in the great outdoors.
Head for the village of Val d’Isère on the weekend of 27 & 28 July 2024 for the traditional Vieux Val festivities! There’ll be a children’s fête, fireworks, a car-boot sale, a Savoie-style meal, a procession of floats and more, bringing the whole village together in a friendly, festive atmosphere. Each year, the Pics à Bouic association invites the residents of Val d’Isère to express their sense of truly belonging to the local community by hosting this festival that transports us to another era. This is one of a kind!
