Pushchair skis! To get around more easily, you can rent skis from Yapu-k that will transform your pushchair into a sled in seconds. Kits are available for 3-wheel and 4-wheel pushchairs. For full details or to book for a day or a week, enquire at the Chalet des Aiglons located at the Rond-point des pistes roundabout.
- Childcare equipment rental: pushchairs, travel cots, baby seats, baby carriers… enquire at Val Baby.
- Accommodation with connecting rooms, loan of games and children’s TV channels available in all our partner establishments (recognisable by the Famille Plus sticker).
- The restaurants have special children’s menus at reduced prices.
- The medical service and pharmacy will ensure you quickly recover from minor injuries and ailments. You’ll also find jars of baby food, powdered milk and nappies to meet all your infant’s needs.

I started skiing when I was 4, so of course I’m not scared! My mum says she’s the one who’s sometimes frightened because I go so fast…
Anyway, I love Val d’Isère. I got all my ski stars here and now I can ski down the Face de Bellevarde and the O-K, the Criterium champions’ slope. Last year, I even passed the ‘Flèche’ giant slalom test. I was one of the youngest and my parents were super proud! What’s really cool is that I ski with the same friends every year, we go really fast all the way and do lots of jumps, it’s great!
Then after skiing we go to the skating rink or the swimming pool and we never stop laughing…
When I grow up, I’ll bring my children here…
Because honestly, we have so much fun and it’s really beautiful…
