Reserved tracks Family with children
Your children will be able to ski at their own pace, in complete safety, on dedicated slopes:
Le jardin des neiges, on the snow front, is a playful area designed for learning to ski while having fun. For children aged 3 to 4, the aim is to learn to ski through play, in a 100% safe environment. Children are welcomed in groups of no more than 8 per instructor, in a protected area equipped with special fun equipment… to encourage learning as much as possible.
The Savonnette slope, on the snow front, is a green slope for learning to ski in complete safety. Its ideal location in the center of the village means you can watch your children’s progress without having to put on skis (for non-skiing family members).
The Bellevarde, La Madeleine and Solaiseareas are ideal for quiet skiing. Learning to ski at altitude is accessible to all, and so much more enjoyable when you take advantage of specially prepared terrain. Take the time to make your first glides, to familiarize yourself with speed in an area where beginners, parents and children alike can enjoy the pleasures of skiing in complete safety.
Play areas Fun on the estate
Valkids, at the top of Solaise, is a play area entirely dedicated to children, with the longest period of sunshine in the resort. It’s like a mini ski area, with different modules for learning to ski while having fun. There’s also a workshop where you can find out more about snow-related professions (gondola piloting, grooming, tracker sledding and even a zip line).
The Lost Village, a “hidden” area in the trees, accessible only by ski, before taking off your skis and strolling along the suspended walkways leading from hut to hut to the eagle’s nest. Cabins and deckchairs for relaxing or playing with the family. Village Perdu is safe but not groomed to respect the natural environment, so an intermediate level of skiing is required.
