L'Etincelle

La Plage de l’Ouillette

On the banks of Ouillette lake, at the bottom of the Madeleine slope, this bar and restaurant serves French cuisine in a wide variety of savoury dishes and desserts. Restaurant Datcha

This restaurant serves a variety of French dishes such as hamburgers, pasta, Crozet pasta, soups and desserts made in-house! You’ll love the beautiful sunny terrace and the very cosy Tipi area where you can savour some churros. Depending on your appetite and the time available, head either for the self-service restaurant or the chip stand!

Le Refuge de Solaise

Le Refuge de Solaise is the highest hotel in the French Alps. Its different bars and restaurants each offer a different atmosphere and their own style of cuisine:

Gigi serves Italian food in a decor created by the architect and designer, Hugo Toro, to carry you back to the seventies in a lovely mountain chalet atmosphere. This is the haunt of seasoned skiers in search of Italian specialities such as black truffle pizza, Parma ham & Beaufort lasagna or lobster spaghetti.
At Le Petit Refuge, you can enjoy homemade pizza for lunch in a cheerful, casual atmosphere, or go along in the evening for Savoie specialities based on local ingredients, such as raclette, savoyard fondue and dauphinoise potatoes.
Last but not least, Le bar du Refuge offers mountain views from both sides, inviting skiers for lunch or an afternoon snack at the fireside. Or pop in during the evening for a cocktail like none you’ve ever tasted.

Le Signal

Constructed in 1973 at an elevation of 2,330 metres, the building at the top of the Fornet cable car in Val d’Isère has always housed a restaurant. This refuge in the heart of the beautiful ski area of Le Fornet was renovated in 2016. The elegant cuisine comes with pleasant, friendly service. Pick your meal from the à-la-carte menu of the upstairs restaurant, or stay downstairs for a quick snack on the slopes. Check it out!

Cascade

At the foot of the Pisaillas glacier, the Cascade self-service restaurant offers a wide variety of dishes (lasagna, pasta, daily specials, burgers, salads, etc.). Alternatively, you can enjoy a cup of hot chocolate before heading back to the slopes. Check it out!

Bellevarde sector

Le Bellevarde

Easy to reach from the Olympique cable car or the Fontaine Froide chairlift, the restaurant Le Bellevarde invites you to enjoy a delicious meal after choosing between two completely different settings.

Upstairs you’ll find La Maison Louly, where you’ll enjoy a friendly atmosphere and a wide variety of refined dishes, for a multi-faceted experience at this unique restaurant perched on the Bellevarde summit. Downstairs is the Café Bellevarde, where you can snack on burgers, pancakes or waffles on a vast, south-facing terrace with a view that’ll take your breath away.

Marmottes

Located near the Mont Blanc chairlift, this self-service restaurant has a spacious interior and a vast south-facing terrace. In this typical mountain chalet you can enjoy good home cooking from a menu with a wide choice of salads, pasta, meat dishes, burgers, soups, etc., as well as homemade desserts. Find out more.

Le Triffolet

For a magical experience in the larch forest of La Daille, head for Le Triffolet, a beautiful mountain chalet with a spacious terrace. The menu features traditional dishes prepared with fresh, high-quality ingredients and served with a lovely range of reasonably-priced wines from local producers. Find out more.

L’Empreinte avaline

This vast chalet enjoys a stunning view over the Bellevarde ski slopes. You’ll find it at the junction between the slopes of the Grand Pré sector. Stop here for a quick lunch at the top of the slopes or for a gourmet bistro experience. We highly recommend the king-prawn risotto, the duck breast fillet with hay and an île flottante for dessert. La Folie Douce

Accessible from the top of the Daille gondola lift, this complex is the place to eat on the slopes for a festive lunch at the original Folie Douce restaurant! From snacks and self-service food to gourmet meals, here you’ll find just the restaurant you’re looking for. Choose between Le Butcher, the Petite Cuisine, La Fruitière, Les 3 Caves and the Cucucina.

You can also enjoy multiple shows and music as well as cocktails and various other drinks.

Le Butcher

Fancy a burger and chips? Le Butcher Shop invites you to take a seat on the terrace and take advantage of the Folie Douce cabaret in a festive atmosphere of togetherness!

Cucucina 

This is the latest addition to the Folie Douce restaurants. In a decor inspired by the studios of Renaissance artists, savour the Italian cuisine made from carefully selected ingredients straight from Italy.

A must among the Folie Douce restaurants, La Fruitière serves authentic local dishes with a modern twist. At Les 3 Caves, you’ll find the same menu with the addition of a cheese buffet featuring a selection matured by Pierre Gay, officially recognised as one of the best cheesemakers in France.

In the Manchet valley

Le Relais Val d'isère

In the heart of the Manchet valley, where skiers and walkers meet, the Piaf Val d’Isère chalet welcomes fine gourmets with tasty, sophisticated dishes such as roasted scallops with spinach in butter sauce, lobster medallions with vegetables and herb mayonnaise, butternut velouté with chestnut and truffle cream. This restaurant prepares its own desserts, has a south-facing terrace and a fireplace, and can be reached by skiers, on foot, or via a free bus service.

Le Piaf Restaurant opens in the evening, offering its warm and mythical setting where talented artists and musicians come together to entertain you for a whole evening like none you’ve ever experienced.

L'Art des Mets

In the heart of the Manchet Valley, L’Art des Mets invites you to make the most of its south-facing terrace or the yurt which can be reached by walkers, cross-country skiers and mountain bikers, or via the off-piste slopes of the Arcelle sector. The menu features traditional French cuisine prepared from local produce, including delicious meat dishes, homemade soups, fondues, burgers and stone-grilled foods.
